Nokia 5800 XM Gets the Firmware Update to version 31.0.101

Do you owner of Nokia 5800 XM? Have you updated your firmware update to v31.0.101? If not yet, it is recommended for you to do so. The last firmware update for 5800 XM was back in July 2009.

This one is not the major update like the previous. However it brings the bux fixes as usual (but there is no detail about it), advanced e-mail app, an upgraded Ovi Maps 3.0 and easier navigation experience. The Ovi Maps seems to be more eye catching and cleaner.

Unfortunately there is no kinetic scrolling on this update, whereas this feature has been waited by the user for a long time. But now you can see the widgets on major screen. The widget is similar to N900 with the similar function with that of Mac OS X or Windows desktop. The widget will display information of time and date as well as RSS feeds.
