Indonesia will be the First Market for 5 Budget Phones and Nokia Life Tools

Nokia will be ready to market 5 affordable budget phones for Indonesian customers next month. Those phones include Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616, Nokia 1800, Nokia 2220 slide and Nokia 2690. For the worldwide customers they will get the phones in Q1 2010.
The price tag for Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616 and Nokia 1800 are EUR 20, EUR 24 and EUR 26 (of course they are before taxes and subsidies) respectively. If you would like to see their features they are FM radio, prepaid tracker, flashlight, anti-scratch cover and dust-resistant keymat and some other features. The battery life reaches 22 days standby time. This battery life will give benefit to you once you are in limited electricity area.
As for Nokia 2220 slide and Nokia 2690, they offer the price tag of EUR 45 and EUR 54 respectively (of course before taxes and subsidies). Their features are email support on the device via Ovi Mail, FM radio, VGA camera, GPRS and MMS support, phone books with up to 1,000 contacts, and Bluetooth. The battery life can reach 20 days and 13 days respectively.
The first group phones will be shipped in the end of the year and the remaining in fist half of 2010.
Finally, the company has introduced Nokia Life Tools that will be available at the early of December 2009. It has the Agriculture service (available for Sumatra and Java) and Education and Entertainment services (available nation-wide).
